Winnie the Pooh

“Do you like it, Piglet?” [Pooh is asking about the new poem he created]

“All except the shillings,” said Piglet. “I don’t think they ought to be there.”

“They wanted to come in after the pounds,” explained Pooh, “so I let them. It is the best way to write poetry, letting things come.”

A.A Milne

A post in which I confess to being completely in love with Winnie the Pooh and his fluff filled brain. (Maybe because he reminds me of me). Every whimsical Thing I manage to create has a trace of Winnie the Pooh in it. No, not the Disney cartoon version, but the original bear who lives in a book and thinks up the occasional word in capitals. In this blog you might see a word here or there with a capital to start (excuse me, I meant to say – in the Upper case). Just because it’s fun. And hunting for Ideas is supposed to be fun. Especially when you’re thinking up a character like Henry, the Owl, caretaker of the Library Tree from my almost published novel, The Bookmaker. (Eek!)
