Once upon the Ink

Oh, to find an Idea

About those words…

Welcome to my blog space. Where I will bring you into my world of words. It’s a confusing place and often a bit crowded with adverbs and adjectives, but it’s as real as I can be. I won’t promise to post every day. Not even every other. Words don’t always come easy and the ones I know don’t like to behave as they should (in an organized, orderly fashion). Instead they play hide and seek. It’s an adventure in which we either take turns being frustrated with one another, or we’re delighted to be in each other’s company…

I started this blog posting about my book writing adventures on the Bookmaker series, and my daily wrestle with sentences. But after I got tired of things like marketing and compartmentalization and keeping my deepest thoughts private, I started writing out my heart. I’m exploring it one nook at a time with the Being who inhabits it and calls me their own. I’m exploring that Being’s heart too – whether you call that person God or Jesus or Love. That’s what you’ll find here – to the best of my ability.
